HSBC Building (1967 - 1971)
In 1967, the department's first Head Office was located at the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Corporation (HSBC) Building at Jalan Gaya, Kota Kinabalu (then known as Jesselton).

State Secretariat Building (1971 - 1981)
On 18th April 1971, the Head Office was moved the State Secretariat Building, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman.

Wisma Berjaya (1981 - 1985)
The Head Office was once again moved on 1st December 1981. This time was to the Wisma Berjaya (now known as Wisma SESB) in Karamunsing.

Menara Khidmat (1985 - 2003)
On 16th November 1985, the department together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (now known as Ministry of Agriculture Development and Food Industry) and all other departments under it moved to Menara Khidmat at Jalan Belia, Kota Kinabalu.

Wisma Pertanian (2004 - present)
March 2004 was the day when the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and all the departments under it moved to the newly build Wisma Pertanian located in the proximity of the State Archives, the State Library headquaters and the Gaya Teachers Training College. The road leading to the building is, at the moment, Jalan Tasik Luyang, Off Jalan Maktab Gaya, Kota Kinabalu.
