Brief Description of Scheme

-

The Drainage project, which is situated on the southeast corner of Sabah, 50 km from Tawau town. About 2000 Ha gross area is involved and this project is to rehabilitate swampy area and also to increase oil palm area. The main components of this project is the provision of drains and farm roads. The project which commenced in 1996 (RM7) was completed in 2001 (RM8) and will continue in RM9.
